Nutrition for 6-9 month olds
From 6–8 months old, feed your baby half a cup of soft food two to three times a day. Your baby can eat a variety of foods from all food groups but avoid honey, tea, coffee, soda, and sugary or coloured drinks. Limit the amount of fresh juices.
You can start to add a healthy snack, like mashed fruit e.g. banana, between meals. As your baby gets increasing amounts of solid foods, she should continue to get the same amount of human breastmilk.
