Recommended routine vaccinations for all
Immunization schedules vary by country depending on which diseases are most prevalent. You can find an overview of the recommended vaccines and approximate dates from your local health centre, doctor or your government’s Ministry of Health.
<u>This is a summary of recommended routine vaccinations for all vaccination programmes</u>
- BCG: 1 dose for children
- Hepatitis B: 3-4 doses for children; 3 doses (for high-risk groups if not previously vaccinated) for adolescents and adults
- Polio: 3-4 doses (at least one dose of IPV) with DTPCV for children
- DTP-containing vaccine (DTPCV): 3 doses and 2 boosters for children; 1 booster 9-15 yrs (Td) for adolescents
- Haemophilus influenzae type b: 2 or 3 doses with booster or no booster depending on vaccine for children
- Pneumococcal (Conjugate): 2 or 3 doses with booster or no booster depending on vaccine for children
- Rotavirus: 2-3 doses depending on product with DTPCV for children
- Measles: 2 doses for children
- Rubella: 1 dose for children; 1 dose (adolescent girls and women of child-bearing age if not previously vaccinated
- HPV: 2 doses (female) for adolescents
